Pose N’ Chat – Figure Drawing Session for Young Adults

The Brooklyn Loft and Artvocacy are partnering for a special figure drawing session for young adults on Sat 8/24 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Artvocacy is a youth and young adult arts advocacy program at Diaspora Community Services that aims to reduce HIV-related stigma, sexual health and other relevant issues that youth and young adults face.

Diaspora Community Services is a social support service agency that empowers families and individuals to maximize their abilities to succeed through culturally sensitive health promotion, family support services and advocacy.

The session will focus on highlighting discussion and the sharing of stories related to identity and sex positivity, fostering a sense of community, and encouraging new friendships amongst attendees.

Participants will take turns as models, each posing for 2 minutes while the rest of the group sketches (wear whatever you would like!). In this space, judgment has no place, and we invite you to bring your individuality to make the session unique and special.

This is a donation-based session, and all attendees will leave with a sex-positive goody bag.
