Weather is looking GOOD for Saturday May 7, as our old red farm truck has successfully steered its way around any potential raindrops and will be delivering ... West African music and dance! Enjoy the sounds and sights of First Saturdays Presents Creative Thunder Bantaba in concert in the courtyard 10AM-12noon while picking out the freshest produce, flowers, plants, gourmet delights, and unique artisanal and craft items for Mom (or treats for the pups!). Our sister markets, the Olde Towne Antique & Flea Market and the Olde Towne Spring Market will be in full swing along Middle Street on either side of High Street. The Steeple to Steeple Church and Synagogue Tour will give you access to all of our historic churches & synagogues, and the Support Portsmouth Public Art Paint Your Heart Out mural painting contest and art sale will be happening at High St. and Green St.! In addition to our family of amazing vendors, for International Jazz Day you can enjoy the sizzling music of Latin Jazz Conspiracy from 10AM-12 noon in the courtyard of the Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center! Starting at 9:00AM this Saturday, we welcome back Chip and crew from Deerehaven Farm with amazing vegetables for the spring, summer, and fall season. Brothers Farm Market is expanding their selection as new delights come into season (and remember, they have fresh eggs and cheese in addition to fruits & vegetables). And OMG ... Not Just Pies is back, with delicious and mouth-watering pies to die for (we tried the Meat Lovers Pie, and it was a week's worth of delicious lunches). We also have over 30 additional amazing food, art, and craft vendors lined up, and fun activities going on around the city.
