Join us for our monthly book club!📚 We meet in the dining room at the Holiday Inn Portsmouth (at the circle)
📚 Hosted by Tina Williams Art and the Holiday Inn
📚 Each month a new theme is drawn from a bag
📚 Each month attendees will vote on the book to be read the following month
📚 Nominations must be received by the Sunday before the meet. Nominations can be made by those who attended that month's book club. All nominations will be presented as long as they follow criteria (see below). In the case that too many nominations are received the hosts will narrow down the nominations.
📚 Book nominations must be available on e-book and audible and must be in line with the theme that was drawn. (Example: Pulitzer prize winning book, book published in 2024, etc)
📚 No outside food or drink per hotel policy
📚 Food and Beverages available at an additional cost
📚 Guests are ALWAYS welcomed! You don’t have to have read the book to attend your first meeting. You’re free to just check us out and see if you like our vibe, we get it!
📚 The last 3 months of the year follow a different schedule due to the holidays. Schedule will be provided at the meeting or you can message Tina Williams.
📚 We work to include everyone in the discussions but if you’re not comfortable sharing just let us know. There’s no pressure!
📚 In the case of weather obstacles the book club meeting will be on Google meet

⏱️ Itinerary:
5:30 meet in dining room, order food and drink (optional) - Any announcements are made at this time (upcoming date changes, etc)
- Read through synopsis' of the current month's nominations and cast your vote
- Ice Breaker Game
- Book Club Discussion (we change format every month but questions are always asked on rotation so everyone gets to participate)
- Votes are counted and new book is announced
- Next month's 'genre' is drawn from a bag and announced
- Wrap up around 7:30
We allow as much time needed for each section of the itinerary but don't go over 2 hours total
