Portraiture in a Variety of Media (2 -Day Workshop)

Join us for an immersive two-day portrait workshop working from a live model. Over the weekend, we will explore a range of drawing and painting media, beginning with pencil, progressing to charcoal, and then moving into watercolour and ink.
With two full days to work, you'll have the opportunity to develop your observational skills, build confidence in portrait drawing, and discover how different materials can shape and transform your work. We will work from both short and long poses, allowing time for experimentation as well as more sustained studies.
Each day will begin with a look at inspiring works by selected artists, providing ideas and context for our own creative practice. Throughout the workshop, participants will receive constructive feedback and individual guidance in a friendly and supportive environment.
Suitable for those with some drawing experience, though all are welcome.
All materials and refreshments are provided.
