Portraits of the Hidden Self: Art journaling and shadow work
About this Event
Portraits of the Hidden Self: A Creative Journey into the Shadows
An immersive art exploration & art journaling workshop for anyone ready to venture into the unknown unknown.
What lives beneath the surface—the feelings, stories, fears, desires, contradictions, and parts of ourselves we rarely stop to see?
In this creative journey, we’ll use paint, color, sound, meditation, and art journaling to gently illuminate the way inward. Rather than trying to explain or analyze what we discover, we’ll let the creative process reveal what words sometimes cannot.
🎨 Art Exploration & Art Journaling
Experiment with paint, color, imagery, words, and symbols as you create your own visual portrait of the hidden self.
🌑 Into the Shadows
Explore the parts of yourself you may avoid, overlook, or simply have never encountered—the unknown within the unknown.
🔊 Colors & Sounds
Meditative sounds and guided moments of stillness will help you slow down, listen inward, and allow your creative expression to emerge.
✨ Create Without Judgment
There is no right way to paint and no artistic experience required. This is about exploration, discovery, and giving form to what wants to be seen.
🍽️ Vegan Community Dinner
End the evening by sharing a nourishing vegan dinner and connecting with fellow explorers.
Come curious. Come open. Come ready to explore what lies beneath the surface.
Light the way inward—with color, sound, and creativity.
