About this Event

Join us at Battersea Arts Centre and watch the filming of Portrait Artist Of The Year 2026!

Please see below for some important information about the day.

There are morning and afternoon sessions on offer. This ticket is for the afternoon session ONLY.

Please queue at the entrance at the SIDE of the Battersea Arts Centre on Town Hall Road. Strict arrival time of 13:15pm.

On arrival, your ticket will be checked by a member of our team. Please make sure to bring your e-ticket or a printed version with you.

There will be a place to store your coats, and one small personal bag per person is permitted. Please be advised that there is no storage or cloakroom at Battersea Arts Centre as it's a working set, so we cannot admit you if you bring luggage or large bags, and we cannot be liable for any valuables left in the coat storage area.

You will be held in a communal area for a short briefing by our team before you enter the set.

As this is a live film set, you might be asked to move, and there might be times when we ask for quiet.

Please be respectful of the artist's space, you may be asked to move back if too close.

We are delighted that so many of you want to join us each year, and are aware that tickets are extremely limited and sell out quickly. To allow as many PAOTY lovers as possible to experience watching a heat, we will be implementing the following:

Wait List - If you are unsuccessful in securing a ticket straight away, then you will be able to join our wait list, and will be notified if/when any tickets become available.

Walk-ins - This year, for the first time, we may allow a limited capacity of walk-in spaces. Please arrive between 3pm - 3:30pm, for the final hour of painting and reveal each day. Please note that the number of walk-in slots available will vary depending on how many people we can safely accommodate that day. Arriving as a walk-in will not guarantee entry.

***Tickets for this event are extremely limited. If you secure a ticket and can no longer attend, out of courtesy, please return your ticket via Eventbrite to allow those on the waitlist/walk-ins to attend**

We look forward to welcoming you to this series of Portrait Artist Of The Year! If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected]

By completing this ticket purchase, you expressly acknowledge and agree that the event will be filmed and recorded, and that your attendance constitutes consent to your image, likeness, and/or voice being captured and potentially included in the Sky Arts broadcast and in any subsequent distribution across additional media platforms, without further notice or compensation.
