Portrait Art Quilts with Julianne

Utilizing the book Portrait Art Quilts by Julianne Walther, this five-session series over five months is designed to guide participants through the book's chapters to create increasingly detailed and lifelike pieces.
The monthly sessions are designed to introduce new concepts, review the previous month's instruction, and troubleshoot/critique the work that students have created. No sewing machines are needed in class. Ten or more hours of homework is expected each month. This will be an intensive series, and participants should be dedicated to creating several small quilts during the series. The series will be most useful for students willing to work hard to master the techniques.
