Portobello Beach Race

Join us on Sunday 30 August 2026 at 10:00am for one of Edinburgh’s most unique races. Starting opposite Towerbank Primary School, you’ll race along the hard sand to Joppa, all the way to Seafield, and back to a fantastic finish-line atmosphere.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply looking for a fun community event, everyone is welcome. We’re a fully inclusive race, welcoming runners of all abilities.
