Happy For No Reason:
If you like ’70s Laurel Canyon folk rock, you’ll feel at home with Happy For No Reason. Known for their “songs of mystical beauty,” the Portland band blends lush melodies, poetic songwriting, and soulful grooves. Their second LP, Take It Higher, features the uptempo bossa “Canaries,” whose animated video surpassed 145,000 views. Now, Happy For No Reason is creating a brand-new LP, co-produced by Alexis/Goldstein and Alisdair Lee. Follow us to hear the new music as it emerges! The line-up for the night at Artichoke:
