Join us for a cozy house concert with Samara Jade!Samara is visiting from North Carolina and amongst other gigs (solo and with her band Three Wheels Turning) in the PNW, she is in Portland to work on recording some of her original music - All funds raised from this concert will go directly into paying the sound engineer and musicians - so come out for an evening of original music while supporting the creation of her album!
Samara will be joined by Jake Last on piano and some other surprise musician guests!

Samara Jade is a forest‑frolicking folk troubadour, multi-instrumentalist, and musical seamstress who threads together earthy grooves, soul-soaked vocals, and thought-provoking lyrics into a genre affectionately dubbed “Philosopholk.” A natural-born music-maker, Samara’s first instrument was a set of pots and pans as a toddler—and she’s been making joyful noise ever since on guitars, mandolins and anything she can get her nimble hands on. Drawing inspiration from jazz, blues, Appalachian roots, Broadway musicals, and the wild whispers of nature, her music dances between play and depth—offering listeners both heartfelt medicine and clever mischief.
