ADMISSIONS & TICKETING
How can I purchase tickets?
In advance of the event, tickets are available through Eventbrite who are our sole ticketing agency. This is the only way to purchase tickets. When the festival opens, and subject to tickets not being sold out, unsold tickets will be available. Tickets sold on site will be at a higher price than tickets purchased in advance which reflects the increased administration costs of selling tickets at the site.
Please note that tickets are only applicable for the session you have booked (i.e. the purchase of an afternoon session ticket will NOT be valid for entry to the evening session and vice versa).
Is there a booking fee for tickets?
There is a booking fee which is charged by our ticketing agents. This is included in the total price advertised by them and is stipulated below the advertised total price. The booking fee covers their advertising and administration costs involved in the running of the event.
How are my tickets delivered to me?
Once purchased, tickets will be emailed to you. They may also be downloaded, sent by SMS or old fashioned post. Please note that tickets cannot be re-issued, and you must bring your ticket with you to gain admission.
How do I get in to the cider festival?
Your ticket will be checked by our admissions team at the entrance gate to the festival. You will be issued with a wristband or stamp valid for the day. The wristband will be put on by our admissions team and cannot be removed without breaking the wristband. The wristband permits you re-entry to the session you have purchased tickets for. Strictly no readmittance after 9pm.
What if I don’t receive my tickets or I have problems during the purchasing process?
For ALL ticketing enquiries or issues please visit the ticket agents website.
Why do you have a no re-entry after 9pm policy?
There are two reasons for this policy.
1) In order to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, we feel that it is important to keep our event site contained in the late evening, where our very competent and friendly security team can ensure that everything runs smoothly.
2) We are respectful of the residents of Portishead and whilst the venue is adjacent to residential areas and in consideration of our local residents we would like to discourage our guests from gathering in the surrounding areas outside of the venue.
Under 5’s are free – Do they need a ticket?
Yes, everyone entering the festival must have a valid ticket. We have strict limits to the numbers of people allowed on the site at any one time and so we have to strictly control the number of people entering, including those under 5.
There is no charge for under 5’s but they need a ‘free’ ticket to enter the festival and receive a wristband.
Can I collect my ticket at the site?
No. You must ensure to bring a hard copy of your printed ticket or a digital copy of your ticket to the festival site for it to be scanned.
Can I get a refund on my tickets?
No. We are unfortunately unable to organise refunds for tickets so please make sure you order the correct ones at the time of purchase. Once all tickets have sold out we may help you resell your tickets at face value.
ATTENDANCE
Can I bring a picnic?
No. The festival provides a wide array of creatively different food traders for you to enjoy. These traders contribute significantly to the costs of putting the event on. In order to support our traders, we regret no food or drink can be brought into the festival, with the exception of infant snacks or special requirements. As part of our security at the entrance, bags will be searched upon entry.
Anyone found to be consuming items not purchased onsite will be ejected from the cider festival.
Can I bring my dog?
No, We do not consider the environment to be compatible with happy dogs.
If I leave the event, can I return?
Yes, the wristband permits you re-entry to the festival up to 9pm on the day.
What is your policy on underage drinking?
The event operates a zero-tolerance policy to underage drinking and works to the Challenge 25 principle. Yes. The Venue has disabled access and there is a disabled toilet in our toilet area.
Do you have security present?
Yes. There is a comprehensive SIA registered, security team present at the festival site at all times.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, however spaces are limited.
What happens if it rains?
