Portico Gothic Reading Group: Lancashire Folk

Join us for an evening of Gothic Reading with a Lancashire lens.

Co-hosted by Natalie Zacek, Senior Lecturer on American Studies, School of Arts, Languages and Cultures, University of Manchester and Dale Townsend, Professor of Gothic Literature at the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies, in conversation with Creative Producer, Dr Debbie Challis.

Following on from the recent "Weird as Folk" exhibition and our successful first session of the Gothic Reading Group earlier this year, in this participatory session we will be reading and discussing "Lancashire Gothic." Come along to talk about pre-circulated accounts, factual and fictional, of the creatures that lurk in the North of England!
