About this Event

Welcome to PennTechShop!

Join us at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - East Liberty for a day filled with creativity and innovation. We will start creating web solutions for non-profit organizations. Yes, you will put your hands in projects, be part of a project team, and apply all your skills in programming languages like HTML, CSS and Javascript.

This workshop has been created for those in the early to middle phase of their careers, whether you're employed or unemployed. Are you self-taught, bootcamp graduate, college graduate or the one who desires to learn and improve a skill needed at work? Then, come and join our project team!

For those seeking job opportunities, learn how to polish your current projects and build something new. Increase your visibility by understanding how to show skill through your work.

Building a full-stack application isn't a small task, but if you're seeking employment as a web developer you should be able to demonstrate your skills in the stack. Even if you specialize in frontend or backend development, having knowledge of the full picture is valuable.
