The Porter Boys Social Club is a band started by the Marron brothers, Christopher and Gary to encourage all things Irish. The “club” was formed officially in early 2023 in South Monaghan, Formed out of a love for Irish Folk and tunes in general.
The band previously supported acts such as The Scratch and Íspini na hÉireann, and have also performed slots at Electric Picnic and Bold Frontiers festival in Dundalk.
Shamrock Showband are the duo, Jamie Bishop and Conor McAuley of Castleblayney and Dundalk fame. Their music draws heavily from the Irish Showbands, American country ballads, and old-timey fiddle music. Their live shows incorporate a mixture of sultry vocals, country fiddle, lush pedal steel, and sampling that creates an exciting pastiche of the glamorous Showband era. Shamrock Showband have been described as “a reawakening of the legacy of country music in Ireland” and “certainly jive-able”.
The Gladstoneband are an Irish folk band from Dublin formed in 2024 by brothers Adam and Patrick Hutton, along with fiddle player Timmy Sheridan.
