Join us Friday, January 2nd at BAAT Gallery for the opening reception of Portals of the Psyche a Solo Exhibition by Jennifer C. Pierstorff."Every piece in this collection opens a doorway into an inner world—where memory, imagination, emotion, and myth coexist in vivid, unruly color. Through surreal faces, botanical dreamscapes, sentient mushrooms, and layered collage symbolism, these works explore how the mind transforms experience into story and story into healing.
Each portal is a realm of its own: whimsical, chaotic, tender, psychedelic, or raw. Some glow with childlike wonder. Others reveal buried truths or the quiet negotiations between mind and body. Together, they invite viewers to slip past the familiar, step into the strange, and wander through the wild landscape of the human psyche.
