The Portage Public Safety Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Portage, Michigan. Our mission is to assist the Portage Department of Public Safety by providing unfunded essential resources and support necessary to foster positive community relations and superior public safety services. The creation of the Foundation affords the opportunity for individuals, businesses, civic organizations, and other community partners to make tax deductible contributions directly to Portage Department of Public Safety. The Foundation does not contribute to department salaries, pensions, or overtime. Our core purpose is to close the gap when funding falls short, thereby allowing for innovative investments into our first responders.
