HEAVIEST PORGY CAUGHT WINS A SEASON PASS FOR 2025*PLEASE READ DERBY RULES*
DERBY RULES : Winner is declared by first mate using a balance beam. In the event of a tie : fish will be put on a digital scale at dock and the Captain will declare the winner. The Captain has final say. If both fish weigh the same amount on the scale - each person will receive a season pass. Season pass is non-transferable ownership and for the 2025 season in Port Jefferson. Season pass has no cash value. There are no limits on how many trips you can do per week, we hope to see you every day! Reservations are still required and can be made by calling the office. Season pass does not extend to private charters but does extend to specialty trips like our long range sea bass trips. Anyone caught trying to alter the weight of their fish will be disqualified AND banned from future trips. Although rods and rigs are provided personal tackle and custom rigs and your own bai are always allowed in all derby's.
