Porchfest is a day for Skinker DeBaliviere residents and other STL friends to discover local musicians as they perform on neighborhood front porches. Think of it as self-walking tour of SD, with mini-concerts as your stepping-stones. The first community Porchfest was held in Ithaca, New York, and has since inspired many other towns and communities, who now hold very successful Porchfests every year! We hope to start the same great tradition here in Saint Louis.
In addition to bringing residents together through local music, Porchfest also provides a great opportunity to appreciate Skinker DeBaliviere's wonderful architecture and diverse neighborhood! This grassroots community event is completely free all you need is walking shoes.
