Porchfest: MONSTERS OF YACHT and The DELTAZ

Celebrate Westhaven Porchfest on September 20th!

Join us for a day of fun and festivities as we celebrate Westhaven Porchfest. This popular annual event brings friends and neighbors together to celebrate Middle Tennessee’s incredible musical influences while enjoying the beautiful Westhaven community. From free live music around the neighborhood during the day to delicious food and drinks, to the ticketed evening concert, there is something for everyone.

This year's evening concert features Monsters of Yacht and The Deltaz with special guest Ben Calhoun.

Monsters of Yacht® is America’s premier tribute to the Yacht Rock Genre. This fast-growing band has firmly planted its flag in the look and sound of smooth music from the 1970s to the early 1980s. Monsters of Yacht ® delivers rocking recreations of songs from artists like Christopher Cross, Doobie Brothers, TOTO, Robbie Dupree, Player, Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Gerry Rafferty, Boz Scaggs, Bee Gees and many more. The band also adds additional songs from artists that are not technically “yacht”, yet positively add to the event and experience.

Musicians agree that Yacht Rock music is challenging to accurately recreate live & this band handles it! Ready for smooth sailing?

The Deltaz - Shut the screen door on the back porch and throw another log on the fire of the barbecue. Then go inside, pull out your favorite Deltaz album and throw it on the turntable. Heavy blues, roots rock, classic country and the blood harmony of two brothers will pour out of your stereo.

Brothers John (Vocals, Harmonica, Drums) and Ted Siegel (Vocals, Guitar) spend many of their days perfecting new records at a vintage mobile Airstream studio behind their residence. Ben Calhoun is the frontman of CITIZEN WAY and a solo artist. He is also a children's book ​author, the founder of General Records, an independent record company, and ​Generosity Rocks, a non-profit fundraising platform for musicians. He also serves as a board member of The Westhaven Foundation.

The General Admission area is open seating on Magli Green with access to food, beer, wine, and cocktails for purchase. Early bird tickets are available for $49, $55 after June 15th.

The VIP Experience includes exclusive access to the VIP area on Magli Green in the heart of the music, featuring meticulously crafted hors d'oeuvres and desserts by Executive Chef Manlio Melloni and his culinary team from the Westhaven Golf Club. Experience the private lounge, two bars, and two complimentary cocktails. You will have access to the exclusive stage-front viewing areas (seated and standing). VIP Early Bird tickets are $155, $185 after June 15th.

Unfortunately, Coal Town will not be a part of our VIP area this year. However, they will be hosting a "Porch" during the day! There will be no access to Coal Town from the evening event.

Parking: While there is plenty of on-street parking, we encourage parking at Pearre Creek Elementary School, Westhaven Residents Club or Town Center parking off Westhaven Blvd behind Sweethaven/First Bank. Front Street between Whitman and Oleander will be closed for this event. We encourage Westhaven residents to walk if possible.

Inclement Weather Policy: Porchfest is an outdoor concert venue and is not covered. This show will be held rain or shine. If and when severe weather conditions exist, or are near Magli Green, we may choose to delay the performance for up to an hour or longer before deciding to cancel or proceed. Guests' and performers' safety is our primary concern! If weather conditions dictate, cancellation of the show may be required. We encourage all Porchfest guests to dress in case of potential weather changes. Umbrellas are not permitted in the venue.

Refund Policy: This show will be held rain or shine. No refunds or exchanges. Please review the Inclement Weather Policy above.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED. We encourage you to come early and check out our Town Center restaurants! Inside the event, you’ll find cocktails, beer, wine & spirits available before and during the show.
