New to pizza-making? Struggling to make great pizza at home? Then this is the perfect place for you to start! In this fun hands on class you will learn everything you need to know to make delicious regionally inspired pizzas in your own kitchen! To help you fully understand the craft of pizza making, we start with the fundamentals such as types of flour, gluten development, basic fermentation techniques, proofing, forming, and baking. With guidance from our Chef you will mix dough by hand and learn how to ferment, shape, stretch, top, and bake your pizza. We will also take the mystery out of how to prepare the dough and ingredients that make regional pizzas so unique from one another! Best of all you will get to eat what we make in class!
The Menu:
Chicago Deep Dish Pizza – A deep dish pizza baked in a deep pan and filled with a delicious slightly sweet sauce, Italian sausage, other toppings, and plenty of cheese
Sicilian Style Pizza – A deliciously crisp pan baked pizza with assorted cheeses and fresh peperoni
Neapolitan Style Pizza – A thin and bubbly crust made with Caputo 00 flour topped with fresh mozzarella & basil
California Style Pizza – Perfectly fermented dough with fresh innovative toppings & delicious sauces
