The Poppy Pageant honors the American Legion Auxiliary’s mission of remembrance and support for veterans. Participants will showcase poise, personality, and respect for the meaning of the poppy while representing our community with pride.
Pageant Requirement
All participants are required to submit a short essay titled:
“What the Poppy Means to Me”
Essays should reflect the contestant’s understanding of the poppy as a symbol of remembrance, service, and sacrifice.
Pageant Titles & Age Divisions
We will proudly crown the following titles:
· Little Miss Poppy (ages 5–10)
· Little Mister Poppy (ages 5–10)
· Miss Poppy (ages 11–17)
· Mister Poppy (ages 11–17
