Before we can put the poppy net up again we need to do a few running repairs. We have a big bag full of poppies that fell off last year and need reattaching. We also already have a bag of poppies that can be used to fill in any gaps that have appeared. We don't need masses of new poppies, but if anyone would like to bring a few of their own poppies to attach to the display you would be very welcome to do this.
If you'd like to help ensure the poppy net is in tip top shape, ready to be put in place ahead of Remembrance Sunday, please come along. If you can, please bring scissors, a bodkin and some black wool, as some of the poppies will need "strings" adding so we can tie them to the net.
