Come and join us on Monday 16th December 2024 at The Bell Toby Carvery, Princes Avenue, Southend-on-Sea for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our cute Poppet the Penguin under the instruction of our workshop leaders Richard.
You can either follow the instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set pace. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you should have a painting that you love.
This is a Painters Choice event where we will also be painting Winter Friends. Each person can choose which design they paint. Please purchase tickets through the relevant event / painting listing.
This event will start promptly at 7:00pm and run to around 10pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and grab a drink from the bar. Or why not come early and grab a lovely carvery before we paint (Menu at https://www.tobycarvery.co.uk/restaurants/east-of-england/southendessex/carvery Food available from 12.30pm onwards).
There is plenty of FREE car parking available on site. Please ensure you add your car registration to the parking system on arrival at the venue.
Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided. We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.

Whilst our events are aimed at adults, this venue is family friend and therefore older children are welcome to come paint with their parent(s) or guardian(s).
We will review and update our policies as and when restrictions change. In the unlikely circumstance of this event being cancelled or postponed due to CoVid-19 we will offer a new date, a change to a different event or a full refund. If you are showing CoVid symptoms or have tested positive please do not attend the event. In that circumstance, please contact us and we will move you to another event.
