POPIDO + FRIENDS is the official Newark First Fridays after-party at Newark Culture Club—curated by GalleryRetail. The experience centers a warm, global dance floor rooted in sounds across the African diaspora, including Batida, Afrotech, House, Baile Funk, Atjazz, and Classics. The goal is to carry the energy of Newark First Fridays into a late-night space that’s high-vibe, intentional, and community-driven—featuring rotating guest DJs, hosts, and dancers.
