You're invited to Popcorn Comedy: an intimate standup comedy experience in the Somerville Theatre's 30-seat microcinema! Our carefully curated lineup of comedians has been featured on Amazon Prime, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Second City, Don't Tell Comedy, and the New York Comedy Festival.This month's headliner is the hilarious Alex Giampapa. Known for his scorching set of well-crafted jokes, hot takes on current events, and biting social commentary, Alex has appeared on Comedy Central Asia, Funny or Die, The Boston Comedy Festival, The Motor City Comedy Festival, and The Rogue Island Comedy Festival. He has shared the stage with national headliners like Bill Burr, Hannibal Buress, Ilana Glaser, Gary Gulman, Sarah Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Adam Devine, and Erik Griffin.
Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.

Outside food and drink are allowed in the microcinema (aside from alcohol).
Beer and wine are available in the lobby.
Opened in 1914, the historic Somerville Theatre is conveniently located right next to the Davis Square T stop on the Red Line. Parking is available nearby. The microcinema is located in the basement of the theater. We can't wait to get things popping at the show!
