Pop-Ups on the Plaza: Celebrating Latine Makers
About this Event
This Hispanic History Month, celebrate Bay Area Latine makers with a day of delicious food, crafts, and community at the Embarcadero Ferry Terminal Plaza (south of the Ferry Building) and Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Entry is free and open to the public, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Pop-Ups on the Plaza is a series of events celebrating Bay Area BIPOC entrepreneurs, including businesses in Foodwise’s Building Equity program. Pop-Ups on the Plaza is a Port sponsored event brought to you by Foodwise. This program is proudly funded in partnership with the San Francisco Human Rights Commission. Additional support is provided by the Ferry Building.
Participating Vendors
- Chi Chi’s Kiosko: Empanadas, Puerto Rican sandwich combos, and passion fruit juice
- Clandestina Cocina: Cuban rice bowls (lechon, roasted chicken, or ropa vieja), Cuban sandwiches, guava and cheese turnovers, and guava limeade
- Dulce Maná: Colombian pastries, flan, choco flan, tres leches, loaves, and conservas
- Flor de Chile: Spicy crunchy chiles
- MexEvents / Casa Bonampak: Handmade and fair trade Día de los Muertos decorations from Mexican artisans
- Mi Comedor: Quesabirria and tacos
- Norte 54: Conchas, tres leches, pan de muerto, and calavera cookies
- Painted Leopard: Coffee sourced from El Salvador
- Pass the Sauced: Salsas, seasonal cooking sauce, and chips
- Semilla: Tostadas de tinga, tamales, and breakfast burritos
- SoulCraft Apotheca: Teas, botanical extracts, drink powder blends, and botanically infused honey
- Tonantzin Mexican Cuisine: Tamales, tlayudas Oaxaqueñas, quesabirrias, tacos, horchata, and café de olla
- Xula Guatemalan Cuisine: Adobado wings, tamales (pork or chicken), garnachas, and artisan salsa (ChiQ’aq)
