About this Event

This Women’s History Month, celebrate Bay Area BIPOC women makers with a day of delicious food, crafts, and community at the Embarcadero Ferry Terminal Plaza (south of the Ferry Building) and Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Entry is free and open to the public, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Pop-Ups on the Plaza is a series of events celebrating Bay Area BIPOC entrepreneurs, including businesses in Foodwise’s Building Equity program. Pop-Ups on the Plaza is a Port sponsored event brought to you by Foodwise. This program is proudly funded in partnership with the San Francisco Human Rights Commission’s Dream Keeper Initiative. Additional support is provided by the Ferry Building.

- A Girl Named Pinky: Cakes, cookies, and brownies
- Asúkar Palestinian Cuban Fusion: Prepared and cooked savory empanadas (vegan and meat)
- Belle Noire: Accessories and wearable art by artists from Africa and the African Diaspora
- CIK Apparel: Hoodies, jackets, t-shirts, totes, hats, lapel pins, patches, and stickers
- Cocoacentric: Jewelry and accessories
- En Vie Naturals: Aromatherapy sprays, spray gift sets, body butter lotions, and joint pain relief cream and sprays
- The Final Sauce: Barbecue sauces, spice rubs, and marinades
- The Lemonade Bar: Fresh and frozen lemonade
- Lil’ Alijo Catering & Events: Caribbean oxtails, jerk chicken, jerk shrimp, red beans and rice, Creole seafood chowder, honey butter cornbread, banana pudding, bread pudding, brown butter cookies, and brownies
- Papa’s Dumpling: Northern Chinese handmade dumplings and fresh noodles
- Remy Creations: Cajun pasta, crab fried rice, and fried fish
- Smoke Soul Kitchen: Soul-fusion gumbo, rice, and sides
- Tonantzin Mexican Cuisine: Tamales, tlayudas Oaxaqueñas, quesabirrias, tacos, horchata, and café de olla
