—THE SHOW—
For the past 4 months in my little corner of the world, I have been playfully experimenting with new techniques and refining old skills, to bring to you an all a new body of work for one night only.
Each piece in this show started with what I am now fondly terming “Reclaimed Wall Art”. I discovered each canvas and frame at a local Salvation Army store and repurposed them into a canvas to paint on. Meaning, each painting started as both a second life for the discarded, and a donation to the cause. Feel that love!
To continue that energy and keep it rolling right into the show, I have decided to donate 20% of my sales to The Lake County Haven. See below for more information on this important and inspiring organization.

—THE VIBE—
A KILLER PARTY- Expect exactly that and nothing less.
NIGHTSHADE AND DARK’S- Delicious experiments. Cocktails and local brews. Get fancy or don’t. KILLER STAFF and golden locals. This space is perfect for large crowds to spread out with lots of window light and room to sit or stand. Patio table seating.
ARTWAUK- an event held year-round on the 3rd Saturday of every month in Downtown Waukegan. Free trolley rides up and down Genesse. Live music, vendors, galleries.
PARKING: lot across the street, parking garage next door, plenty of street parking.
FOOD- Food Truck/s, Quonset Pizza, Giant Pretzels
LIVE MUSIC- details TBD.
YOU CAN TOTALLY AFFORD REAL ART- I intend for my pieces to come home with you all, like pieces of confetti from the celebration of the show. I am pricing this work approachably. CASH- ZELLE- VENMO

LAKE COUNTY HAVEN- “The mission of Lake County Haven is to empower homeless women and their children to achieve permanent, independent living. Founded in 1992, the Haven fulfills its mission by providing shelter, housing, and professional services in support of its residents and graduates. The agency has now served more than 900 people through its programs and services, the vast majority of whom have moved on to the next level of independent living.”
