Pop Up Playground: Cardboard Creations

Create, imagine, explore with The Creative Kids Collective!

We are bringing a van load of cardboard to Totara Park to build, deconstruct and create with.

The kids take the lead on this one as they re-purpose and explore with household recycling, loose parts and cardboard boxes. It's up to them what they create, it will be outdoor creative construction fun, only limited by their imaginations.

We promote zero waste while also saying let's re-use what we have and come up with new ways to do it, starting with supporting kids to develop their creativity. Developing imaginations, creativity and re-thinking rubbish in a world facing a never ending wave of waste.

We’re bringing tape and scissors, but you know how wild a cardboard playground gets — bring your own if you want unlimited crafting!
