About this Event
We are hosting a pop-up event for anyone looking for a truly unique photography experiece!
Each photo session takes approximately 20-30 minutes and will include one tintype of your image plus a digital copy, you have the option of purchasing either a 5x7 or 8x10. Maximum of two people per sitting-- kids, couples, singles or pet. You will also get one free complimentary Green House beverage of your choice before during or after your shoot!
This pop-up event will be in the front room of the Green House, located at 505 E. Washington street in Iowa City. Parking is free on Sundays at the Chauncey Swan parking ramp across the street. To purchase, choose a time slot-- please make sure to come 10 minutes beforehand to get settled and prepare for your sitting.
Your scanned and varnished tintype will take 2-3 days to process, pickup will be at the Green House.

About the artist:
Ramin Roshandel is a composer and photographer. Over the past few years, his work has appeared in Big Picture Project in Denver (curated by Mark Sink), Our Selves (curated by Helene Vienna), and Public Spaces One's Auctions. He is currently exploring the Wet Plate Collodion technique on different materials.
Ramin's compositions have been performed by Nicole Esposito, Ben Coelho, Anna Elder, Will Fried, Daniel Schreiner, The JACK Quartet, Ensemble Dal Niente, Kamratōn Ensemble, and LIGAMENT duo, as well as in NYC Electroacoustic Improvisation Summit, the Society of Composers, SCI’s Summer Student Mixtape, and Cleveland Uncommon Sound Project’s Summer Sounds. With Jean-François Charles, Ramin performed at the Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States (SEAMUS), MOXSonic Experimental Sonic Arts, and TurnUp Multimedia Festival. Ramin's collaborative album with Jean-François Charles, Jamshid Jam, was nominated in the World Music and Crossover Productions categories of Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik (German Record Critics’ Award).
Ramin holds a PhD in Music Composition from the University of Iowa.
