Join us for a Pop-Up Slow Roll on the potential route for a Northside Greenway. We meet at Folwell Park and ride, followed by a fresh meal.Fall excursions on the Northside! We will explore the tree-lined canopy of North Minneapolis from Folwell Park, exploring the health, wealth and emotional benefits of "greenspace" on the Northside.
Slow Roll is in full effect to change the narrative of North! We will meet at Folwell Park and explore the triangle from Folwell to the 26th Street bikeway to the Theodore Wirth Parkway and back to Folwell Park. We will roll out from Folwell as the epicenter of potential development that will have lasting impacts on the well-being of the Northside. See the pocket parks and trail connectors and learn about the future of the Northside Greenway. How do green space and increased mobility impact the future of a neighborhood? You can decide.
- We meet up at 11:15/11:30 pm for a meet & greet registration and bike tune-ups. We even have bikes to borrow. If you are borrowing a bike, please arrive before 11:30
- At 12:00 pm (promptly), we roll out on a conversationally paced ride appropriate for all skill levels and bikes. We will feature the Northside connections that matter to you, Art, and new potential connections to friends and family, and we will finish with a beautiful Afro-Deli meal.

Slow Roll is a group bicycle ride in the Twin Cities that meets weekly (with some limited exceptions and special events). It is part of a national network of community rides that started in Detroit. Each week we meet at different venues and take a unique route through the city, including all the major and minor neighborhoods that we are so proud of but may be underrepresented in the cycling conversation or the home of historically oppressed communities.
