Join us for a FREE POP-UP LATIN DANCE STREET PARTY with LIVE MUSIC on on FRIDAY, SEPT. 20 to celebrate Welcoming Week 2024 in Hamilton!Featuring a live Latin band + beginner Latin dance lessons & performances, this will be a SUPER-FUN night where everyone belongs! :)
PROGRAM:
6-7:00 p.m. ***Special Pre-party rueda de casino lesson for YOUTH only with VLADIMIR ARANDA. Youth must be minimum 12 years old to join.
7-7:45 p.m. - Beginner Salsa and Bachata basics with Sean & Sanya of ELITE LATIN DANCE
7:45 – 10:00 p.m. - Dance party with 4-piece Latin band GRUPO MELAO playing * salsa * bachata * merengue * cumbia *
There will be performances by Jesse from THE BALLROOM + the ELITE LATIN DANCE Team & tunes from DJ JO NOVA!
LOCATION: Ferguson Station (corner of King St. East and Ferguson Ave.)
PARKING: There is a municipal parking lot near the west side of Ferguson Ave. + street parking
