Two strangers - a married doctor and suburban housewife - meet by chance on a railway platform, and soon begin one of cinema’s most memorable love affairs.
This beloved feature from director David Lean and writer Noël Coward is now celebrating its 80th anniversary, and is screening as part of the BFI’s Melodrama season in venues across the UK.
