The Art of Teaching exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience the creative visions of the dedicated art faculty from BISD. This compelling collection, displayed in the Grand Hall lobby, highlights the diverse artistic talents of 10 local educators, each contributing a unique perspective on their craft and the role of teaching within the art world.Featured in the exhibition are Amber Beranek, Savannah Bunn, Summer Canfield, Michael Daniel, Ian Floyd, Theresa Hampton, Kelly Hurst, Shana Martin, Thai Nguyen, and Amanda Westmoreland.
The opening reception on Tuesday, February 11 at 6:15 p.m. will give attendees the chance to meet these talented educators and delve deeper into the inspiration behind their works. The Reception is free to the public, but please RSVP here: https://www.nrharts.com/upcoming-receptions.
This exhibition will be on display until March 28, offering a glimpse into the artist that teach through the medium of art.
