Get ready to Pop! into Art during the Anderson Arts Center’s 2026 Summer of Art, a vibrant season of creativity designed for artists of all ages. This year, we’re celebrating the bold colors, playful energy, and iconic style of Pop Art with three exciting weeks of Summer Art Camp for students ages 6–12. Young artists will explore imaginative projects, experiment with new materials, and bring their own larger-than-life ideas to life in a fun, supportive environment.Art Camp: 60’s Pop Art (June 22-26)
Step into the bold beginnings of Pop Art! Campers will explore bright colors, graphic styles, and comic-inspired imagery while drawing inspiration from artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, creating playful, eye-catching works of their own.
Art Camp: 70’s Pop Art (July 6-10)
Get groovy with the expressive energy of the 1970s. Students will experiment with pattern, typography, and mixed media influenced by the vibrant designs of Peter Max and the bold graphic language of Robert Indiana.
Art Camp: 80’s Pop Art (July 13-17)
Big, bright, and totally rad! Campers will channel the fun and flair of the 1980s through neon palettes, street-art aesthetics, and high-energy creations inspired by Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
