Mark your calendars! We have teamed up with Tupelo Parks and Recreation to bring you a community Lupus awareness health fair called P.O.P. (Put On Purple) in the park in Tupelo. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects millions of individuals worldwide, and raising awareness about it is crucial for early detection and management. Our event aims to increase the quality of life in Tupelo by providing education, support, and a sense of community for individuals affected by Lupus and their families. Through engaging activities and informative sessions, we seek to empower attendees with knowledge about Lupus, promote healthy lifestyles, and foster connections with local resources and support networks. By bringing together the community in a vibrant and supportive environment, we believe our event will contribute to enhancing the well-being and overall quality of life for individuals impacted by Lupus in Tupelo and surrounding areas. Activities at the event will include: Lupus Awareness Walk, Interactive Information Booths, Health and Wellness Workshops: Art and Craft Stations, Live Entertainment, Healthy Food and Refreshments.
