Poni MitchellPoni Mitchell is West Sussex’s premier Joni Mitchell tribute band that uniquely only plays one Joni Mitchell song. The band’s lineup is Sarah (vocals, percussion), Kate (guitar, vocals, percussion), Adam (guitar, mandolin, ukulele), and Kaori (bass, guitar, ukulele, melodica, glockenspiel… everything). They play regularly at the Greyhound in Keymer (thanks to the late Gav Macleod) and Proper Cycling in Hassocks, seasonal appearances at Trenchmore Farm in Cowfold, and other venues around West Sussex. Poni Mitchell is purely a covers band, playing many different genres in a folky arrangement - this ranges from Joni Mitchell (just the one) to Radiohead, The Beatles to Grizzly Bear, and Neil Young to This is the Kit.
The Self Help Group
Residing at the crossroads between Folk, Americana, Indie and Pop, The Self Help Group has spent the last 13 years producing critically acclaimed albums and a plethora of great singles. Lounging on the South Coast of the UK, they remain a great live act as they deliver the band's trademark Americana-influenced vocal harmonies and intertwining melodies.
"Absolutely wonderful" Bob Harris BBC Radio 2
“Melodies that draw on the very best of classic West Coast Americana...." Folk Radio UK
