Wetlands are all about water! Some of the best builders of these habitats are the armies of tiny creatures that live under the surface and on the beds.
Have a go at catching some with our nets and special equipment to discover some of the weird and wonderful life that calls water its home.
Join the RSPB for pond-dipping at Kippford Holiday Park (visit: Coastal Kippford (aka Kippford Holiday Park)).
We will provide hand sanitiser and a washing station but do come prepared to get a wee bit wet.
And if you catch the bug for mini-beasts, why not continue tomorrow, with an event to discover the ones that live on land at RSPB Mersehead nature reserve!
