Join the Greenwich Audubon Center for a workshop to get you started with designing and building a small, backyard pond for your garden. This workshop will be led by biologist James Carr, who has taught at the New York Botanical Gardens for more than 20 years.
Ponds are tremendously beneficial, providing critical hydration to your plants and vital habitat for wildlife that support the health of your garden. This Pond Design Workshop will help you learn techniques for designing your very own pond, and will include a lecture, interactive discussions, and hands-on training outside.
This workshop will take place mostly outside in a small group setting on the Audubon grounds. Once you register, we will reach out to you with more information about the program. If you are unable to make it to this program, the instructor is also available for private sessions. If you are interested in this option, please reach out to us for private session rates. All levels of awareness and experience are welcome. Capacity is limited, so we encourage you to register early.
