Join us at my studio to make an elegant holiday wreath from wool pom poms and tassels, made from eco materials, on a cotton rope wreath.About this Event
Check out my profile all my other fiber art and pottery classes - in-person and online available.
Luscious, cozy and festive, these elegant one-of-a-kind eco-friendly Snowball Pom Pom Wreaths are so rewarding to make! It's an investment of time that you can enjoy year after year during the holiday season.
In this five-hour workshop, I’ll show you my technique for making highly textured wool snowballs, using a wide selection of yarns and reclaimed fabrics. So even though all our pom-poms are white, everyone's will have their own unique character. We'll embellish our wreath with tassels we'll make from reclaimed fibers and luscious wools, cottons and boutique yarns and wood beads. All of this is mounted on a cotton rope wreath form.
Making giant bespoke pom-poms gives you a little hit of dopamine when you cut them open, like opening a present! Everyone loves seeing the surprise inside! Plus it makes a huge mess ( that you don't have to clean up!)
I spend all year collecting a hige variety of vintage and reclaimed materials, so this is truly a texture lovers delight!
This limited release class, I am only offering this class once for 8 people, so sign up as soon as you can.
READ FAQ BELOW BEFORE BOOKING
We’ll be working in whites and creams, but I'll have a bin of other colors of reclaimed fabrics, so you can add in pops of color to match your own holiday decorating vibe ( like flecks of pink or something!)
All materials and supplies provided, and tea and wrapped snacks!
This class is great for getting together with friends, family or work colleagues to get crafty and festive, using luxurious and reclaimed fibers to give this project a real hand-made sensibilty! All in my warm and cozy studio, drinking tea and snacking by the wood stove.
The Workshops are held in my cozy art studio in the trees, with a crackling wood fire!
