It is a great pleasure to present our new Polyvagal Manual Therapy (PVMT1) course, an innovative approach to the comprehensive treatment of the body and mind.
At the core of our manual therapeutic practice is a gentle, precise, and soft touch applied to the physical structures of the autonomic nervous system. On a polyvagal level, our focus centers on safety, prosocial connection, and nervous system hierarchy.
This therapeutic approach is revolutionizing our daily practice, reaching new levels of physical and psychological well-being. Polyvagal Manual Therapy integrates manual clinical techniques with mental science into a unique and groundbreaking method.
Our program is based on the fundamental principles of the Polyvagal Theory for the manual treatment of patients with both physical and emotional challenges. Our courses offer cutting-edge techniques in neural, vascular, myofascial, and Somato-Emotional mobilization, aimed at integrating body areas that may be under-stimulated or excluded, seeking to restore the body's overall homeostasis.
Through the understanding of Stephen Porges' Polyvagal Theory, implemented in our soft tissue manipulation techniques, the course focuses on regulating physiological states. We will address various areas of the human body with the goal of reintegrating isolated or dysfunctional zones, improving proprioception, interoception, and exteroception. Participants will learn to identify patients' physiological states through meticulous inspection and recognize pathological or dysfunctional areas through touch.
