Polyamory is the practice of, or desire for, intimate relationships with more than one partner, with the consent of all partners involved. It has been described as “consensual, ethical, and responsible non-monogamy.” People who identify as polyamorous believe in an open relationship with a conscious management of jealousy; they reject the view that sexual and relational exclusivity are necessary for deep, committed, long-term loving relationships (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyamory).
Whether you are actively poly, poly-friendly, or are just curious about ethical non-monogamy, join us for the next Poly Kraków social group meeting.
What do you pay attention to when getting to know a new or potential partner? What makes you raise a red flag 🔴 - and what makes you breathe easier and feel safe 🟢? What are some polyamory-specific red & green flags? Do we sometimes mistake a preference for a red flag? Join us to share perspectives and swap stories.
As usual, we will use snippets of the Multiamory podcast as a discussion starter (check them out, they are awesome! https://www.multiamory.com/).
We will divide the time between the set topic and a more free-form Questions & Experiences section.
The event will be held in English but all levels of English are welcome to attend.
We are generously hosted by the awesome people from Massolit Books & Cafe and this event is free to attend. We, however, encourage you to get at least one non-alcoholic drink from the bar. Our gathering spot is in the Books section, which is situated in the back rooms across the hall.
Last but not least, while we will be talking extensively about dating and relationships, this is not a dating event. Making like-minded friends is always nice, but please refrain from explicitly hitting on people during the event.
