MacLarty is recognized for his focus on the psychology of high-performance teams, creativity, and his ability to simplify complex skills for players of all levels.
His first visit to the united States in 2022 was to Heartland Polocrosse Club. His select AU/UK Barbarian team played a test match vs the 2024 World Cup Team during the EZ Mega Clinic.
