About this Event

Curious what's really buzzing around your garden? Join UF/IFAS Extension Bay County for a fun, hands-on look at the pollinators sharing our yards — from native bees to butterflies and everything in between.

We'll cover:

  • How to identify common local pollinators
  • Simple ways to make your yard more pollinator-friendly
  • What the Great Southeast Pollinator Census is and why it matters
  • How to do your own count — at the Extension office or right at home with your favorite flowering plant

This session runs 1:00–2:00 PM and will be offered in person and via Zoom, so you can join wherever you are. A Zoom link will be sent to registrants before the event.

Bring your questions (and bring the count home with you) — the Pollinator Census happens just a few days later, so you'll be ready to jump right in!
