Do you want to help pollinators? Do you like bees and butterflies? Do you want to make your yard a better place for insects, wildlife and the environment? Many bees and butterfly populations have declined in the past few decades due to loss of habitat and other factors. Pollinators are essential to ecosystems in Ohio and around the world. Learn about a new program from Ohio Pollinator Habitat Initiative (OPHI) called “Won’t You BEE My Neighbor” and how you can incorporate native plants in your yard and landscape to help pollinators. Attend the “Won’t You BEE My Neighbor” Workshop on Saturday May 18th at 11am at Amos Memorial Public Library (Sidney) in the Community Room.
After, you can buy plants that pollinators love from a Native Plant Sale! Down Nature‘s Path, LLC will have a variety of 4.5 inch native plants available for purchase after the workshop until 2pm. You do not have to attend the workshop to shop. Cash, check, credit card and Venmo accepted.
