Fall is the best time to plant native plants! And this fall Neighbors of Belknap Lookout is launching the Belknap Native Plant Initiative-- a big community project to provide Belknap residents with native plant kits that were professionally designed and grown by Plaster Creek Stewards! APPLY TO RECEIVE A NATIVE PLANT KIT: BelknapLookout.org/Beautification
ABOUT THIS EVENT:
• Attending this event is mandatory for all participants in the Belknap Native Plant Initiative. The general public is invited to attend, as well!
• Participants in the Belknap Native Plant Initiative will pick up and take home their plant kit at this event.
• During this event you'll learn about Michigan’s native plants, the importance of biodiversity, and receive tips for planting, watering, and maintaining native gardens.
• The talk will be led by Jacob Bol, Watershed Restoration Fellow with Mi Climate Corp for Plaster Creek Stewards
• Event is FREE to attend!!
• FREE CHILDCARE!
• FREE snacks! Always gotta have free snacks..
