What turns a garden into a pollinator habitat? Learn what attracts winged visitors, and how to keep them coming back.
If you are curious and want answers to a few questions you may have about creating a pollinator garden, join Nancy Bevilaqua, Master Gardner for a slide presentation and question/answer period on Pollinator Friendly Gardens. This class is free but limited to 25 participants. Be sure to sign up early! To register call the KG Extension Office: (540)775-3062.
Extension Master Gardener’s Programs – Green Talks Extra -- KG Parks & Recreation has partnered with the KG Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) office to provide new educational programs. The programs will be provided by Extension Master Gardeners who are volunteers that have received training from VCE on horticulture topics. They volunteer in many ways in the community including helping to maintain the Native Demonstration Garden at Cedell Brooks, Jr. Park and manning the Plant Clinic at the Farmers Market on Community Days. Most of the programs are free but advance registration is required for all of the programs.

If you are a person with a disability and desire any assistive devices, services or other accommodations to participate in activity, please contact Pegi Wright at 540-775-3062/TDD (800-828-1120) during business hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to discuss accommodations 5 days prior to the event.
