Provide nectar and host plants for pollinators with a Pollinator Container Garden Kit to Go. Each kit, prepared by the Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County, includes a 14-inch container, potting soil, planting instructions, pollinator-friendly gardening resources, and a set of seven nectar and larval host plants. Plants include marigolds, pentas, parsley, and other flowering annuals.
Online Sale: Purchase a kit for $40 online at https://extension.psu.edu/pollinator-container-garden-kits-to-go by May 7. Kits must be pre-ordered. A total of 45 kits are available. Purchasers may buy more than one kit.
May 9 Pick-Up: Pre-ordered kits are picked up in-person by purchasers on Saturday, May 9, 12pm-1pm, in the rear parking lot of the Penn State Extension office in Cumberland County located at 310 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
