Join us for "Pollination Station: What Plants Do Native Insects Need?" on Sunday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at the Nature Center at Shumway Oak Grove Regional Park. Meet Oak Grove Docent Council volunteer Margaret at the Nature Center for a guided walk through the Atrium Native Plant Demonstration Garden and the Native Plant Trail. Learn about native pollinators (bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, bats and more) and how their survival (and ours) depends on native plants for pollen as well as nectar and food sources throughout the year. This is an easy walk, about 45 to 60 minutes on a compact dirt/gravel trail. Families welcome, severe weather cancels. Parking $6 cash.
