What is the intention of this event?
To bring answers to the following questions; Does your vote really matter? If you see that your values aren't reflected in levels of government, what are your options? How can we come together to take steps forward to make positive change? What does political engagement look like?
What do we want guest to walk away with?
We want to equip audience members with tangible actions they can do after they vote. We want to show them how to engage with their elected officials and what steps they can take to start to get answers to problems they are facing. We want them to have a better understanding of next steps.
What this event is not:
This is not a "why should we vote for you" discussion. Our panelist are given the opportunity to empower residents and neighbors on how to be more engaged in our community. This is less about issues and more about systems and how to make effective change.
What should guest expect?
To kindle a sense of hope to make a positive change.
Be given action steps and information on how to make change.
See how grassroots organizations can be effective in creating positive change.
*Panelist & Audience Submitted Questions
Each guest speaker and audience member will be able to submit a question before the event. Submitted questions should be focused on how neighbors can be more engaged in our communities be focusing less on a particular issue and more on what systems there are and how to be involved.
*We will do our best to include as many of your questions as possible
